Well I haven't been back in a while but I still have my '96 C2. And now I'm officially in the over-60 group while I wasn't the last time I logged in.

Ran into a complete stranger yesterday and somehow we got onto the subject of Rennlist (probably had something to do with the cars that each of us were driving at the time). Gave me a bit of inspiration to pay a visit just to see how things are around here these days. Only to find some poll that serves to remind me how ancient I'm becoming...

But I voted. In the future I'll even try to not make these visits a once-a-year kind of event. Well maybe.

There is an over 60 category, but no under 30 category? I'm 28 and lucky enough to own a 95 C2. Had to work hard for it.

I bought my first Porsche brand new in 1987. I was 26 years old and wanted a Mazda RX7 in the worst way. Before pulling the trigger I stopped by Porsche just to look. The P-car was so beautifully built and drove so incredibly well I just said F it and bought the car. I have never been as excited about a car purchase since.

First 911 at 26, that was a LONG time ago. First and probably only 993 at 49, and that is going on 11 years ago now.

Put me down as old as dirt, just not ready for that nap yet.
