Default 17" Cup Wheels with Tires For Sale

Fronts 7X17 Offset: 55mm, Wt: 19 lbs. 2 oz.
Rears 9X17 Offset: 55mm, Wt: 22 lbs. 5 oz
Tires: F 205/50-17, R 255/40-17

These are OEM Porsche hollow spoke light weight wheels. The fronts have brand new S-03 rubbers and have less than 200miles. The rears have the RE-730/Bridgestone Potenza, which are also very thick(my estimate is 95%). I'm asking $850 for the set and I'll split the shipping. One has a couple of minor curb rash. They are guranteed to be Straight and True. Photos were taken while I was painting my brake calipers, hence the diff colors and before the S-03s were installed. Sorry, center caps not included. Mike,

You should contact this guy on the wheel and tire forum. He's looking for a set of 17"cups.

Hi Mike,

I just posted this thread into a 944 Forum thread, where someone in Miami is looking for a set of 17" OEM wheels...

Also - you do know that your calipers are different colors - right??!!

Mike,

Post the price you end up getting (and maybe a tip on how you find the buyer). I'm considering an upgrade from 17"s also.

Thanks!

Mike, If you still have the wheels available, I am interested in purchasing them.

Argh, I just bought the same wheels for $800, but they had black crests and the rear tires (Kumho) needed replacing ($380!).

Where were you a month ago?

... OEM Porsche hollow spoke light weight wheels.

I've never heard this description associated to anything but the 993 Turbo Twist rims. Did you mis-speak on the "hollow spoke" part. Just a point of clarification, here, as I am not trying to throw a wrench into the works

Ecobb, SOLD the 17 cups for $750 to a rennlist member who emailed me first. He offered to pick them up, so discount towards the wheels was in order.

Tips in selling, I posted the add here(993, 911 and 928/944 forums). Members are entitled to post 1 add per month(I think) in the forum, not counting what you posts in the classified section. I had a total of 12 members expressed their interests.

Edward, the 17 cup wheels Porsche OEM (Not replicas) have hollow spokes.

To All, Thanks for all the help and interests.

~Mike

Since these appear to be sold I hope you don't mind me jumpin' on this thread... I also have a set for sale. The discussed price looks reasonable.. so why not???

You can see pics in my gallery and I will post current wheel only pics under a new thread this weekend at the same time as putting in the classifieds if we get that far. They are in excellent shape and will never be used now that I'm turning the MY02 wheels.

I too have a set of factory OEM 993 carrera cup 17 inch wheels with tires, for sale and will part with them for the same price of $850. They are the same OEM 17 inch carrera cup 993 wheel from the factory, off my 1998 993 cab. There are continental sport tires on the 17 inch cups that have 75% thread left on fronts and at least 50%, maybe 75% tread on rears. No curb rash on any of the rims and balanced and straight as an arrow. I can email pictures to anyone interested.

Not at all John. Hope you sell your's too. I could just see my cup wheels just sitting in my garrage if I didn't get rid of them.
Nice set up you have by the way, with the PSS9 and the wheels looks great on gray 993s(IMO). I too have gotten a set of the MY02 Carrera Wheels.

Poncho, you seem to have an interesting front license plate mounting rig but none of your pictures show it. Can we see it??
