Droping engine for LWF.Opportunity to service what?
I am droping the enging for a LWF and a G50/21 conversion. I want to take the opportunity and "fix" whatever i can. What would you recomend i service, clean or replace now that the engine is down.My car is a 1997 993 targa with 70,000km.

You can replace:
Cylinder head temperature sender
Replace power steering belt and related seals
I'd replace your flywheel/crank seal
Spark plugs/ Check plug wires

My engine was just out; we replaced the rear main seal, transmission side shaft seals and the input shaft seal, resurfaced the flywheel and replaced the clutch disk. I would also replace the oil pressure and temperature switches, as they are relatively inexpensive and you'll have easy access.
