I am using 18X11.5 rims and want to put on the widest tires possible, without rubbing or sticking out. Anybody know if a 315/30 will fit? Thanks in advance.

As long as you're at stock height, it should work. I've got 315/30 P-Zero Rossos on my car (pretty low), and I only get an occaional rub of the tread on the fender liner. Sounds worse that it really is, and only happens with the suspension set soft, and hitting a big bump. Oh, yeah, roll the fenders.

DJ,
Same rim width? And BTW: We should not post flip replies, Ray. <img src="graemlins/nono.gif" border="0" alt="[nono]" />
So regarding the original question, yes, it works, just raise the car to SUV height...

Factory Tech Bulletin sez only 285/30X18 on 10" wheels w/ 40mm offset or 65 mm offset w/ 25mm spacer ring. So I WILL NOT go against what Porsche sez.
I have rubbed w/ my stock 255/40X17 on my '95 993 - depends on tire brand (this w/ rolled fenders). So rather be safe than sorry.
