Default 10 Indicators that you're too old for your car!

So, as another year goes by and this being my 6th Porsche, I'm reminded that perhaps I'm getting a bit old for another one. So, I've put together a few "tips" about when you want to consider getting rid of your Porsche for something else.

Top 10 Indicators That You're Too Old for Your Porsche

10) Your stack of repair bills weigh more than the compact spare

9) "Christ, why aren't there cupholders in this &*^%$ car?!?"

8) You wish you'd bought 16" wheels instead of 18" because the ride harshness bothers you

7) You've gone to two retirement parties and one funeral for Porsche mechanics

6) Women smile at you at stoplights like when they see the news story about the 105 year old man that still makes his own supper.

5) The car no longer serves as your Viagra... you need the real-deal

4) You look longingly at new Volvos because you think their seats would be better when your 'roids flair up

3) You shift the car based on engine noise because damnit, the numbers are just too small on the tach.

2) You remember the day you bought your 993 clearly but whether you put on underwear this morning escapes your memory

1) "I should have gotten the Tiptronic"

Thanks,
Peter

Whew! - One less thing to be worried about as old age slowly approaches.

Ahead of the curve - this time, Yeah!

Ray
Does that mean your car still serves as your form of Viagra?

Peter
Well done. But be careful lest you encourage the youngsters to start making old fart jokes. It can get rather tiresome putting them in their place.

Let's see... AARP... that's the acronym for "Association of Addicted Rennlist People", right?

Oh you think the problems start there? I'm 25 years young but am constantly reminded of it (my girlfriend is a sweet 19!).... but the 911 makes me feel any age I feel like.

If anything... the 911 is the perfect age CURE... get outside, get in your car and drive it like it's meant to be driven (like it's done something wrong).
Age then becomes irrelavant...

Peter,

Well done! But you forgot the time-honored:

"You remember when racing was dangerous and sex was safe."
