Default New passenger seat

Installed a Tillett B5 with a Tillett bracket, Recaro slider and Planted adapter. I went this route (Recaro Speed Seat & B5) to save weight, have a proper bolstered passenger seat and to retain the rear passenger seats.

Negative. Drilling the holes in the Recaro sliders and making everything line up was a pain. After trial and error, the seat smoothly moves forward and aft.

Very nice! Good call using the Recarro sliders. With the right size offset side brackets you might be able get rid of the Planted base brackets and save another 12 lbs. If you can get brackets that line up 16” apart (Planted offsets work for the B6), you’re all set and can bolt the Recarro sliders directly to the seat mounts.

The seats are surprisingly comfortable despite the minimalist approach. But Tillet does make thin seat cushions which I would highly advise opting for as they provide a little padding, and more importantly, grip!

My biggest concern would be grip! Those look very slippery!!!

i have the expensive Tillett seat and back cushion but want to showcase the CF for a bit. I am thinking of doing some type of seat cover where I could put the cushions on top. When I do not have passenger(s) I can remove them both and store them behind my seat.
