Exclamation 96 C4S on ebay ending in 20 minutes

<a href="http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=2419426009&category=10156" target="_blank">http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=2419426009&category=10156</a>

Seems that the bid price is still below the reserve.

As usual, no affiliation with ebay.

I see that it is Daniel Sch**t selling the car. Based on what I've read here, I wouldn't deal with the guy. Life's too short.

Ooops, I didn't look at the seller's name too carefully. Perhaps that's why there's only two bids?

Ok, so the question is out there... What have you heard? Out of curiosity more than anything. Not affiliated with anyone..

Go to the archives, search on "Schmitt". You will see that this dealer generates a lot of comments, 95% of which are negative.

Aaahh.. I have my car. When I was looking on ebay, I did notice them, as they are somewhat close. However, I went to a local place here to get my car..

That particular car has been discussed in this forum before... I recognize the crazy two-toned interior.

I live near the dealer in question, so I stop by every once in a while just to see what they have. This car was there last week when I stopped by and I can tell you that it's not nearly as clean as it looks in the e-bay ad. Digital photos are great for that!

While I was there, the owner was taking digital shots of a few new arivals from an auction in FL. A couple of 993's, a real rough late 80's TT and a Blk/Blk Merc. SL600 v12. It was possibly the nicest car I've seen there in two years except for the new SL55 AMG!!!! It was awsume!!!!

Most of the 993's that he gets could make decent daily drivers if you get a PPI done by Reid Vann and they come out with a clean bill of health. One of the salesman told me that they almost always get their cars from auctions. Very few trade in's.........imagine that........no one wanting to deal with them a second time!

I'm not going to jump on the pile to bash DS, God knows there's been enough of that...What is interesting is I just hopped over to Ebay to check the auction on the Sheen car. As of this post, approx. 9:30 AM EST, the reserve is met at $55k and change. Looks like a nice car....I'd love to know what they set the reserve at as it seems a steal at $55k.
