Will the Turbo twists fit my 993NB
Before I get slammed, I have checked the 993FAQ and performed numerous searches, but I can't find an answer to this basic question, my appologies!!!!
Will the following turbo twists (I guess form a Boxster) wheels fit my 1996 993 narrow boody?
Front: 7,5*18 ET 50 with 225/40/18
Rear: 9*18 ET 52 with 265/35/18
I know that these wheels fit OK and probably was the standard fitment;
Front: 8*18 ET 52 with 225/40/18
Rear: 10*18 ET 65 with 265/35/18
but I am unsure how the different wheel widths and ET's as detailed above will affect in aggregate. I do have 5 and 7 mm spacers.
Looking forward to getting slammed....Sorry...

Jonas,
Just a few weeks since fitted the same set of wheels. I had the good fortune of having a trial week before committing though. The fronts are within 2mm spec for offset but . The rears are further out by 13mm, but also 9" as opposed to 10" wide. I think this reduced width compensates just about perfect for the off-set difference. Whatever, the fit is fine with me.
Enjoy

Nol,
Absolutely a beautiful color! Is that the Iris Blue? And the Boxster rims look great, as well. Your car looks about same as my height, but with 18s instead of my 17 Cups. You mind if I ask what your height is to the fenders? Thanks!

Thanks for the compliments, that's Zenith Blue Metallic in the Bright Middle Eastern sun.
I took tentative fender heights (in the dark) at 25 1/2" front and 25 1/4" rear with less then 1/4 tank of fuel. (I wonder where this takes me compared to M030 et al as I am contemplating lowering a 1/4" or 1/2")
Mind you this is a trick picture: The car is parked on a slight downhill slope with a concave surface. The height to the sills appears higher compared to a flat surface.
And let me say that the visual impact of the 18" Turbo twist wheels continues to amaze me. A mere half inch reduction of the apparent gap from rim to fender, bringing out the face of the front wheels by a similar half" and a muscular 5-spoke design, that's all. And I lowered the car almost a year before on 17" 996 twists not dissimilar to the Turbo twists. Well, the step change with the wheels is in the same league as the lowering. Me likes...
