Solid or Rubber Subframe Mounts

why not shop FVD europe?
they have good prices and a 10% discount using rennlist as code.
front ball joints
https://www.fvd.net/de-en/9933410490...lock-nuts.html
control arm bushings with press kit, they also sell different versions of reconditioned control arms for the front
https://www.fvd.net/de-en/FVD3315002...ace-front.html
https://www.fvd.net/de-en/FVD3410180...inal-part.html
clubsport subframe
https://www.fvd.net/de-en/FVD3315004...port-rear.html
solid subframe
https://www.fvd.net/de-en/FVD3315000...race-rear.html
while the above has a tilt kit, the picture looks like you get a flat kit also plus spacers, you'll have to ask them what is included.
I've ordered a number of times from FVD and have never been disappointed with quality, service or price.
can't say the same of rennline or elephant.

But: - is the quality of the bushings (Rubber and steel) the same as ER?
- How can they apply a 10% discount? I don't see this option on their website.

ER? you mean elephant racing?
for suspension parts my experience for quality is
best- ERP parts from Tarrett
middle- rennline
worst- elephant racing
that is my non engineer opinion, others will likely think differently.
FVD is a vendor, not sure they produce anything.
lots of oem parts and high end aftermarket, the products I've purchased fit perfectly and worked well.
on the US website when you get to checkout there is a discount code box.
FVD is a rennlist sponsor so adding rennlist to the box gives the 10% discount.

The parts onto the FVD website look they are from Elephant Racing (ER).
On the FVD european website there isn't such a place: I am going to write them an email, to make few things clearer and also asking how to have access to that 10% discount, which is always welcome!
Thank you very much for your tips, k722070

Another option is you can send your control arms to elephant and they can install the bushings for you. On their site they market their reconditioning which they strip and recoat the arms. If you want only the bushings installed they can do it too...
As for the subframes, the elephant ones worked for me... they are machined aluminum and appear to look similar to the Rennline non tilt ones.
Chuck who owns elephant has been helpful. For me, has been a good experience so far with them.

Rennline has the solid, non tilt subframe mounts. But they are not the RS thickness ie - they will not lower the rear end 10mm. I confirmed this with Rennline recently and had to send the subframe mount set back as I want to lower the rear 10mm with solid bushings.
I also plan to send my control arms off to elephant to have them replace the bushings and ball joints.

Samurai_k, does Elephant's version pull the subframe up to the chassis? I ask because I have a version of Rennline's that is solid but the same height as the oem mounts. I'd prefer the smaller smaller mounts if they are available. Thnx!

This is exactly the point: here many talk about the rennline solid mount without the tilt kit, so that the rear suspension will work better at lowerer ride height, but then you go on the rennline website and they don't have the product.
Then you see the elephant racing ones, and one says they have not good quality product...but onto the FVD website the bushings look really the same as the ones on the ER website...this is very confusing.
Waiting to understand which solid bounts to buy, what about Powerflex bushings then?

the solid subframe bushings are just cut aluminum, kind of difficult to screw up so you could buy from anyone.
rennline did screw up their new version though because it is a press in bushing rather than slip fit.
if you are going to press the bushing in you might as well buy the FVD clubsport version.
the elephant version looks fine, and the sides are already ground off to fit the tub which is nice.
I'm not saying elephant is producing bad products, just the worst(in my experience) of the choices.
if you want the best, go to Tarrett.com and buy the ERP solid front control arm bushings.
Tarrett also sell the rennline solid subframe bushings without the tilt kit, same price as FVD depending on VAT and shipping charges.
stable energies also sells ERP, the flat solid subframe bushings are $376
http://www.stableenergies.com/PRODUC.../products/272/
I mentioned FVD because shipping might be cheaper, easier to deal with in your time zone and they sell good quality products for the same price as others.
the FVD subframe version might include the option for tilt or flat so call and ask.

I run the Rennline mounts (non-tilt) which I've had on a while. They do raise the subframe into the chassis a little, any further and the subframe would have to be trimmed ref:- http://www.jackals-forge.com/lotus/9...suspension.htm
Mine were identical.

I was considering to buy this
http://www.rennline.com/Rennline-Sol...tinfo/SB65.XX/
In the description there is written that one can purchase the version with or the one without tilt kit, but in the option button there is only the tilt kit choice. This is curious.
On the FVD website
https://www.fvd.net/de-en/FVD3315000...race-rear.html
they say.
Yes, but first, I don't want to drill anything, and second, they should provide the instruction sheet before purchasing, not after! Or maybe it's me that I don't see the sheet, which can also be possible.
on the other hand, tomorrow I am going to check how is the condition of the ball joints, if they are not loosen, I will change them later.
Probably then I could consider to send the A-arms to FVD for replacement with harder rubber, or buy the kit from them.
And rear spring hat for PSS10 with RS monoball top mount plus Solid subframe mounts from Rennline.
I think this picture shows the right kit I am looking for, same length bolts.
From the installation diagram (PDF file) they suggest to read, I don't understand how it is possible to install in horizontal position each subframe, because either it is horizontal with the tilt kit or viceversa it is not without.

It will also be necessary to drill and counter bore the sub frame for one of the bushings as indicated in the instruction sheet. Specs are provided.
