I wanted to share this video of a 993 doing a standstill-style burnout.

The question is should a 911 do a burnout? Probably not. I've seen twisted and broken driveline components from this sort of thing.

Burning Brakes
The driver was Nakai San of RWB, as many may have recognized. He had just completed the 2-day conversion of that car in Portland, OR. I saw much of the work. Checking tire/fender clearance?
Given that it's an interior space in a high end facility, pretty nice floor(or was), closed garage door, human bodies all over, and smoke even exceeding his frequent Winston's, adds to his well-packaged celebrity.

Past RWB projects in the background
I too got to attend this RWB build. The car’s owner was extremely gracious and the event was nicely hosted by 503 Motoring. The car started as a 96 or 97 C2 in arena red. Jeff Gamroth worked his magic and rebuilt the engine to 3.8 and also regeared the tranny. KW V3 shocks and springs with upgraded top mountings. BBI wheel hubs are ordered with brakes currently stock. Borla supplied mufflers - exhaust is otherwise stock. Car had a complete paint job in Mexico Blue. Wheels are Vossen and seats are Bride. Some like the RWB look and some don’t but this owner really did the complete job. Show and GO!
