[QUOTE=acr89;18755275]19 foot pounds is what you want
I finished rebuilding mine with the new barrels and lips that Tramont sent. I switched to gold hardware in the process. Overall pretty tedious but a relatively easy DIY. just need to get the center caps color matched now.

Nice! Way to change it up. Looking forward to seeing it mounted.

Looking awesome! Great job!
Did you end up going with the 3" barrel in the rear? What was the resulting offset? Any pics to show how flush it is to the fender?
What color center is it?
Was it difficult to change the lips?
Did you polish the lip?

GT2 gray centers. Not too difficult to change the lip other than needing to use a heat gun to coax the centers out of the barrels. It’s also pretty tedious.
no polished lip, just stuck with the anodized finish! Should be easy to keep clean.

For those who used OEM RS center caps on your Tramonts, any fitment issues? I just put my Tramonts on and the RS center caps seem to be too big to push in all the way.
I see some Tramont owners with these on no problem. Any insight appreciated.

Definitely time to replace those aging and yellowed stone guards too…FD Motorsports will set you up with a replacement set.

I think I just destroyed the anodized finish on the lips. Was in self car wash recently, and now I got white streaks and spots which I can't get out. Will try some more but I think the soap somehow reacted with the anodization. Almost new wheels and they look like they have water spots all over

Is anyone running 235 fronts on their 8.5 ET42 Tramonts? Time for new tires on my car and am thinking of changing the 225 front to 235. They are Continentals so not a super fat sidewall. Just want to avoid any known sizing/rubbing issues.

I asked them when I ordered my set and they said polished is possible but it would take longer. I regret ordering an anodized set

8.5 ET 45 Tramonts on my 4S, multiple brand 235’s up front without issue. The wheels have been on the car since spring of 2014. The 295’s on the 11” ET 38 rears, are far tighter. Naturally your ride height, and suspension will impact that clearance also.

After 4-5yrs of having @wongdawg pic as my desktop background on my laptop, I finally wired money to France today and I'm joining the club in here.
Now I wait two weeks in anxiety as to whether any lips will arrive damaged...
