993 Caliper Decals
First post, Audi guy here so please reserve judgement (trust me I'd have a Porsche if I could afford one).
I bought a set of Audi D2 S8 calipers to for my car which are almost the exact same as 993TT big red calipers (same part number and everything). I'm refinishing them, powder coat, clear coat , etc and I'd like to add the Porsche logo while I'm at it. I've been searching for decals and there are virtually none to be found. Amazon, eBay and all your other go-to websites don't have anything. I've only been able to find two websites that offer them, and they're both pricey and located in the UK. I've also heard about stencils but that seems like more of a hassle and those are just as hard to find. Just from my searching, I've seen this topic covered a handful of times already, but I'm posting this anyway to see if anyone has had more recent experience. Scrolling through those threads, it looks like many of the products people have used are gone now anyway. On another note, what size decal would closest match the original logo that Porsche brakes come with. I don't want to go through the hassle of finding decals just to find out I ordered way too big or too small. Just buy my estimates and eyeballing my calipers, I'd guess anywhere from 3 to 3.5." If someone could post pics of their calipers and tell me what size they're stickers are that'd be great. Also, if someone could point me to where I could find some decals that'd be great. Maybe you enthusiasts have a source not easily found by a google search, maybe some of you just have some extra decals laying around, who knows. Anyway, any advice is welcome. Thank you!

I don't think decals are used on brake calipers because they can get very hot (like hundreds of degrees hot), degrading stickers & sticker glue....which leads to the stickers melting and/or falling off. Calipers are painted with any text/logos on them also painted on, using high temperature rated & chip resistant paint.
Brake calipers are a hostile environment for stickers.

I would think if one lays down a 2K (2 part) urethane base of clear coat, attached most any decal and then overcoats it with two or three coats of 2k clear coat it will be encapsulated in a very durable plastic envelope and probably will last a long, long time.
