I'm following a DIY on this topic. To remove the wind deflector there are four - 3 mm Allen screws. That allows me to remove wind deflector and change out pull bows and slide rails.

I'm not having much luck getting those 3 mm screws to budge. Concerned about stripping them.

Anyone else have a similar experience? Any solutions.

Looking at pic #1, are these the screws you are trying to remove? They are M5x12 Torx head screws.

You actually don't need to remove the wind deflector to replace pull bows.

Since you are getting there anyways, I'd check front roof bearings and replace them if they are worn. Mine were not even installed correctly.
