I have towed with a U-Haul several times. I hauled both my 993 and my Jeep YJ. What I liked about UHaul is their road side service. About 15 years ago we were moving across the country, hauling the Jeep with a UHaul (it was before we bought the 993). At a gas station we noticed one of the tires had thrown a tread. Within 90 minutes some guy from the local UHaul store had come to the station, changed the tire and we were back on the road. There was very little fuss, they came out, looked at the tire, changed it, and left. He checked our lease and that was it. I don't know how many service centers Penski has, but I would look at their coverage.

After an overnight stop in Tallahassee, I have reached my final destination in the Tampa area. Thx again for all your input!
