Welcome. Fantastic looking car and great color combo. Let it rip and get nutty with her. The harder you drive it the better it feels

Wow - incredible photos! The Stelvio Pass is certainly on my bucket list, but who knows if I'll ever get there...
Your 993 is beautiful and the Shelby GT is another incredible car. It must really be a rare sight in Norway!
Enjoy!

Wow...great job on the paint. Looks gorgeous! I need to do a correction on mine soon. Haven't had the time cause it will need days of buffing. You gave some inspiration so thank you. Congrads on the 993. The stance is perfect and love the gauges.

Thanks for all the positive feedback people!
Im glad I can give some inspiration back to the members of this forum.
I finally managed to get some time for work on my own car. In my spare time I have been detailing other friends cars in order to save up for parts and mods.
Im already planning my next trip for the summer to the alps with a friend and his 964. Looking really foreward to that trip.
Next is refurbing the calipers all around with parts and paint, wash the undercarriage, new seals and gaskets (already aquired), paint spoiler and doorhandles, install the retrofit HID kit, lower it to RS spec and toss on some spacers, maybe 11mm(?).
Heres some of the work I got done lately.
993 Cup wheel installed. Now I have the correct angle on my arms when driving. Red stripe to match the red seatbelts aswell
Turned out quite nice and the wheel is not in the way when entereing/exiting the vehicle
Spoiler alert: Wetsanding trials & error
Wetsanding away the scratches
Rubbing it all up again
Finished result. Scratches are almost gone. They were too deep in order to save it and I came through the paint aswell. So next stop is the painter.
Did coat the car aswell. See the diffrence between right and left side? Right side is coated and the left side is just polisched and waxed. The car became much more true black after it had dried finished adn it gained somekind of glasscoat.
End result, also with new braking ducts for the occasion
Some like the fronts..
..others like the rear.
I like my cars to be shiny, but dont worry, it will see lots of miles and smiles when the summer arrives.
cheers,

Thanks for the feedback!
I have finally got the car on the road after a long winter and finished with some small projects to it.
I did fit a new DAB+ radio from Continental and new speakers from Focal to the car. I used the orginial tweeterhousing to mount new tweeters and I mounted the Focal mids on MDF rings straight on the doorframe (behind the doorcard). The result is great with minimum interference to the originality look inside the car and the sound is much much better and more crisp and dynamic. Now I have the option for music on those longer drives. I did get most of the inspiration from the forum, which made it straight foreward on mounting and modding.
Whilst I was out with the doorcards, I did painted the doorhandles, went over the locking mechanism and replaced the aweful doorhandlegaskets. The door mechanism was much more smooth and firm on both sides after this.
I also cleaned the vinyl interior once everything was out. Some of the vinyl strips had loosned on the doorcards over the years so I did restrech and attach them over again. It was about time somebody cleaned that interior!
The car had a early 6000k xenon kit fitted to it and one of the previous owners had tamperd with the harness to the lights to make it fit. I did rebuild the harness back to oem and fitted the tore t-light HID in 4500k. Once the lights was out I changed out the oem projectors to Morimoto H7’s. The car now has a clear and crisp light almost the same as my daily A4 allroad. A absolutley must upgrade if you do some nightdriving in non lit up areas.
I also delivered the car to my local P-shop which lowered it some more, weighted all four corners, and set it up for aggressive/playful street driving. They fit the Elephant bumpsteer kit whilst at it and performed a general status check on the car. The new suspension setup pretty much transformed the car into a toy car. It is much more stable at speeds and more responsive without beeing nervous. The turnin is precise with a more direct feel than oem. The bumpsteer is virtually non exsistent but it is still comfy to drive in trafficwithout beeing too much racecar. All in all the whole suspension setup package is probably the best thing I’ve done to the car.
I have also installed new AC buttons, cup steeringwheel (with airbag resistor harness), new washernozzels for the lights and for the hood (what a pita job!), crest seal, colored centrecaps for the wheels and probably more which I dont remeber at the moment.
All in all, the car is great to drive and it provides buckets of smiles. Sometimes even the occacional thumb up from young girls!
Anyways, here are some pictures:
Changed out the CDR-210 with Continental DAB+. Great upgrade which looks near original. The update in sound is also great.
MDF mockup
Final fitment and paint. Quick release on the speakercable.
Fitted the new tweeter in the old housing.
Old doorhandle and gasket.
Ready for a spatreatment
Non polished
Polished
Finished with new paint and seals
New seals
Changed out the centrecaps
Oem projectors beeing replaced by Morimoto H7s
