Starters I'm single - 28, multipolicy and multicar discount applys:

Erie: 95 993 - $582/yr
91 Toyota pickup 4wd - $317/yr

I believe Erie may only be available in PA? Not sure....I get $110 off per year for parking the 993 for 90 consecutive days, not abig deal in northern PA.

Cheers - good luck,
Andy

Sounds like some of you are getting some great insurance rates. I talked to my insurance agent (State Farm) and they quoted me $600/6 months for a 96 993 C4 coupe. I'm 33, married, with multi-car discount. My 98 Volvo V70R costs me $300/6 months. Would there be any difference in rate between a C2 and C4.

I pay about $1100/yr with Erie Insurance. I agreed that the car would not be driven a total of 3 months out the year and that brings in down to about $800. The nice thing with that situation is that the car is insured the whole year and if there is a nice day during the winter I can take it out for a spin. My college roomate is my agent and let me know about that opportunity.

Wow Mike, that's a great deal.

In CT same coverage as you, 4 car and 41yrs old and we're still $1110.00 on the 993 and it's a '95.
Are you sure that's not a 6mos rate ! (just kidding.....)

Does Geico do your homeowners as well?

It does help, make me cry.............

BTW, how do you get a quote to insert in your reply?

Just like this.

Seriously, go the lower right hand corner of the post you want to quote and hit the " " (quote) button. It's directly to the right of the pencil and paper pad "edit" button.

I pay $1600 a year for full coverage incl. roadside assistance w/ $500 ded.,
with USAA. I'm 37, married and have a ticket on my record....Though the
insurance agent told me the most costly issue with an auto policy is mileage.
Mine's a daily driver and I was honest(!) about my 10,000 miles annually.

Nice Mark....That'll teach me.

I think I got it! Or at least I will see.

Maybe this can qualify me into the "HWFMRT" for how slow it took me to get the "quoting" thing to happen.

Evan,

Maybe when you're deleting certain parts of the quote, you're also getting rid of the other characters needed to create the quote, bold and italic text. It seems that if you get rid of one bracket or other seemingly minor character, the whole thing gets screwed up.

Hope that makes sense.
