Your install looks great - much better than "rolling sex", which would be clumsy and less practical than your seats.
I used the sliders for the same reason as you. I'd love to have some additional headroom, though.
Thanks for sharing!!!

Anir - thanks for the feedback. Actually, your matching leather seats and all of the posts on them were my inspiration.
Rob - I should have reported that, even with all of the attempts to bring the seats lower, I think I'm at about the same height with the GT3's that I had with the stock seats. Can't speak for your sport seats, though.

Unfortunately, not yet - but bodywork is complete and paint should be soon. Then, it's back up to John Wright's race shop in Cinci for engine reinstall and final suspension tweeking.
Should be back just in time for snow tires and the winter doldrums.
My wife keeps whispering "Skip Barber arrive-and-drive" in my ear. Have to admit that it may have its advantages, over losing my daily driver for 3+ months.
Mark, that may be the first time my pet projects have ever served to inspire. You'll LOVE your new set-up. The GT3 seats are awesome, although they do force me to take my ever-enlarging love handles more seriously.
Rob,
I agree with Mark, unfortunately. Didn't see any significant gain in headroom.
