Now comes the hard part - waiting for delivery
Well - the paper work is signed and the checks will be in the mail to the dealer on Monday. Then I get to wait for the shipper to deliver my 95 to me. I suspect I won't have much in the way finger nails by the time it arrives. Here's the URL to the dealers pictures.

Special thanks to Bob D. for taking the time out to test drive and do a walk around for me since I'm in Phoenix and the car's is just north of Chicago. He made my first long distance purchase of a P-Car possible.
Thanks to everyone else on Rennlist as well for comments and suggestions on my journey to my first 993.

Congratulations Scott - looks like a real nice car. If you don't mind my asking, what was the final price? As I'm looking myself, I'm intersted in the actual selling prices vs. asking prices. Thanks.
Also, the split grille is not original to 95 as far as I know. It's a nice upgrade that gives the car a distinctive look.

Glad to help, Scott! Congratulations again! This is a beautiful car that drove perfectly.
The aluminum split grill was an add-on by the PO, but in person it really sets off the car nicely--a very cool look I had not seen before.

Great looking car...welcome to the club. The Split Grill is a Porsche Tequipment option, available from your friendly Porsche dealer.

Nice color combo, Scott.
So what's gonna be your first mod?
Welcome to the 993 family.

Thanks everyone for the kind remarks about the car. I think the first mod will be on me - learning how to drive it right.
It came with factory sport chassis ( *EDIT* P31 which I think is the same as the M030 option, not sure though ) and the prior owner already upgraded to 18" wheels and the tires are new Michelin Pilots, so for the time being the suspension should be good enough - although maybe I'll search the archives and see about how to lower it. I guess either lower it or get a chip, although I'll probably wait a bit in either case.
Sigh - I'm getting so anxious for it that I had to stop off at the local Porsche dealer today and wander through their cars. Kinda like getting a fix I guess.

Well, if you don't want to wait.. I am flying to Chicago and would be happy to return the car back to you for the cost of Gas. I would gladly make the trip to AZ and fly back from there.. Of course, I understand if you don't want to take me up on this offer..

Georges:
I believe it's an older Alpine. I haven't seen it yet, but I had one in the late '90s that looked identical to that.
Chipset:
Well, gee, umm, that's an awfully nice offer there. But intercity seemed so excited to do it for me I'ld hate to, uh, disappoint them Yah, that's it!! I wouldn't want to hurt their feelings
