Now comes the hard part - waiting for delivery

Good choice with Intercity. They transported my concours 914-6 from Seattle to Chicago for me, and I was very pleased with the experience. Extremely careful and knowledgeable, IME.

Congrats! I love those rare early sports seats. They hold better than the more popular hard-backed ones. I think that they only made them for the really early 95's...
Enjoy!

Hey Scott: my Dad just got a 993 and he and I are both in Phoenix. Give me an e-mail at msneberger@***.net and maybe we can get together and talk P-Cars sometime (I know it is awfully hot, but maybe a visit to the Pavilions at least) once your car gets here. This is my Dad's first Porsche so maybe you can teach us some stuff.

It came with factory sport chassis (P08 which I think is the same as the M030 option, not sure though ) and the prior owner already upgraded to 18" wheels and the tires are new Michelin Pilots, so for the time being the suspension should be good enough - although maybe I'll search the archives and see about how to lower it. I guess either lower it or get a chip, although I'll probably wait a bit in either case.
Sigh - I'm getting so anxious for it that I had to stop off at the local Porsche dealer today and wander through their cars. Kinda like getting a fix I guess.

Nice car, and cograts. You may want to verify if the previous owner installed the front support required (per Porsche anyway) on early 95 cars that are wearing 18's....
