Default Door Lock Key Plug ?

I like the finished look of the black plastic plug in the door key slot as I use the fob to unlock/lock and would like to find the same type of plug for the 6GT3 which does not show one in the parts catalog.

Google has not been a help searching for a plastic key lock plug and the 993 plug does not fit the slot.

Reaching a little here but hoping someone may know of a source.

Electrical tape doesn't do it.

I'm sure the 996 guys would probably laugh me out of the forum as half of you are, but I know some here will understand.

Thanks!

Try BumperPlugs.com. I've used their door key slot plugs for my 996 and 987. I especially like that they can be painted to match the car, which results in a very "finished" look.

I think I got the OEM part from Suncoast. It's black, but I agree that a body-color version would be a nice detail.

Smile And don't forget...

Wire Mesh Radiator Protection from Rennline. I am ordering these....it's a tough job owning a 6GT3....I am slowly adapting. Thanks for some feedback you provided as I was in the searching process.

The 993 is going on the block...up for sale in a few weeks. Sorry to see her go.

My car still has its original keyway plugs. None of that special 993 stuff
has ever leaked out that way.

If you do mistype it you still can order plugs it's just that you will have a hell of a time getting them to fit in the keyway.
