Did not do anything with the car…but for the car. Finished reupholstering the damaged rear quarter panel that I bought used earlier. It had some tears. My last pieces do replace my standard interior with leather interior.
Getting good at the leather working. What did you use to cover the plug for the side seat bolt? Looks OEM.

A push-in plastic hole plug like this.
The speaker grill will come off again - this is the old one that is a little scratched but I attached it to see if I trimmed enough of the leather underneath so it fits properly.
Did a drive to Old Car City USA in White, GA. with a gaggle of Porsches and folks from the north Atlanta area. This place is 32 acres with with more than 4,000 vintage vehicles spread across 6 miles of trails in a forested setting. Some great photo opportunities for sure. Didn't even know it was in the area! About a 100 mile round trip that included some excellent country roads on the way home!

kinda love the color combo.
if I read it on paper I would not like it. But altogether it looks really good.
black. Tan. Red cabrio roof and the yellow ceramics.
really nice.
Our daughter is home from college for the holidays. We’re having unseasonably warm temperatures here in Tennessee. So I thought it was a perfect day to introduce her to the Tail of the Dragon, Smoky Mountain foothills parkway and Cherohala Skyway in the 911! We drove 330 miles, stopped and took lots of pics, had bbq for lunch and had a great day hanging out together. Saw lots of 911’s, vettes and many, many Miata’s.

Got my winter wheels - found a Rohanna's - which were pretty much the cheapest I could find in what was limited in my searches, and ended up with the Conti DWS. With AWD, don't think I'm needing the Alpins like I had on my RWD M4.
Only thing, these Rohanna's are really close to the RS-Spyder rims...kinda wish I would have strayed a little, at least in color if anything.
Also put a little sticker on the back window. I know, tad lame, but I do have one on all my manual cars.
Looking like a 4 month winter here in the northeast this year. Plus another 1-2 months to fix the roads after spring does arrive. What did I do with my 992? Looked at it in the garage. I’m quickly realizing that to enjoy a car like this, you have to live in a sunbelt state.

Some ideas:
Get winter tires and go drive it.
Ship to a warm state dealer, fly out, pick up and do a vaca with it. Or trackday.
Go simracing a 992 until spring.
Buy mods and install.
