M3inline6!swears by boden and they will have them in 2-3 weeks. brabus folks have not gotten back to me yet but German and I like the look.

away from that they sound different?
When companies exhibit contact/accessibility issues, that’s a turn-off to me. Kevin from Boden is accessible and always answers the phone. If Brabus’ lack of response doesn’t bother you and you like the aesthetics better, go for them. As for sound, that’s an unknown. There is a sound difference between the known kits however.

I am leaning Boden.
but it will depend on sound ultimately.

Actually we heard the Brabus BOV sound clip in the promotional video. The only one pending is the Eurowise kit. Boden/ECS sound better than the Brabus kit to my ears.

They are wrong, as we’ve seen/proven with Eurowise. The diverter valves are the same for both cars. Order the Brabus kit if you like it.

these are just passive spacers that allow pressure to escape. I can’t quite imagine what would make them sound so much different. I doubt the openings are designed to act like a whistle though. That would be funny.

Maybe it’s a port design?!? The Brabus sound clip definitely doesn’t sound like my car.

this is what I mean with “whistle” design. They probably can design the opening to create sounds but that would be weird. Typically you just hear the pressure relief “pfff” (&#128514 w/o a designed sound component of the BOV itself. But I can be wrong. Maybe it’s just slight difference in the port sizes that act like that.

Wait. It gets hot in Florida?

I'm shocked. SHOCKED, I tell you.

Now I want to compare all 4 kits side by side to examine port design. It makes me smile to see so many 992’s running VTA kits now.

I think we have them beat in FL. I think this Vegas heat is only rivaled by AZ. Florida has the humidity though, so that’s its own kind of suck.
