Not today, but yesterday: installed the S/T lip and took the car for a 250 mile drive through Mt. Rainier national park.
LOVE it. Mine is still in its foam box. I have not had time to properly find time to attach it properly. Quick job I take it?
dod you use a stencil/template or eyeball?

Measured from the outer edges of the wing and put some painters tape down on both sides to mark the area where it should go. Carefully put the lip on the wing to check looks from all sides. After putting tape on the lip carefully lowered it onto the wing. Pretty straightforward.
I like it a lot. I wanted something subtle and didn’t want it painted. Material looks like the satin black parts around exhausts. Also, it looks like a small version of the lip my Cayenne S Coupe has.
Can't really compete with the scenery enjoyed and shared by many of you... but I ran some errands, swung thru a local park, and filled up the tank for the second time on the way home. Much better than leaving her behind in the garage on the trickle charger.

I love it. Can’t wait to put mine one. It looks great.
Small changes. The steering wheel does not look good. But that annoying airbag sign is gone. The tape is too thick…it sticks out and you can see the sides…fail. Win…bye bye annoying airbag on/off sign.
I also installed a 12 o’clock marker. Took a few attempts to cut the vinyl wrap to the exact width (1/4in. or 6.3mm). I initially ordered about eight different red tones. None of the glossy ones I found appealing. I used a 3x5in. sample 3M 2080 in matte red metallic (M203). I’m very happy with the outcome. $1.49 well spent. https://a.co/d/0sgUiqY

yep. I bought that exact sample one too but went with that “leather repair patch kit” one instead. But am going to take it off this weekend and do what you did. Since you also kindly gave me exact measurements. You don’t remember the length do you? I figured if it’s a bit bright I may be able to darken somehow.

I don't remember the length, sorry. I cut it to the correct width using the full 5in length. Then I cut a piece of paper to 1/4 width, wrapped it around the steering wheel (leaving a gap where the stitching is) und cut it with scissors. Using the paper template, I shortened the vinyl.

One note of caution - I learned the adhesive on these vinyl/leather strips does not like Florida heat...it becomes soft, mushy and the tape starts to move around when you touch it.

Is this Arlo Guthrie's Alice's Restaurant? Looks like a cool place.
Need to give the song another listen in any case. It's been awhile.
EDIT: Alright, I did learn that the restaurant of the Guthrie song is in Massachusetts. But I now also know that the pictured Alice's Restaurant is pretty famous and special in its own right. Will have to make a point to visit when I am out there again. Thanks for the picture and lesson.
