Default 992.2 Carrera HD Matrix Activation in US

After following various threads for months now about Mars @rnlst_log working his magic enabling the full matrix functionality, and after finally receiving my very own 992.2 Carrera last month, I can now happily say I've experienced these lights first hand on my own vehicle and I absolutely couldn't recommend activating them enough! I'm absolutely blown away at how sophisticated these lights are compared to the same lights without these features, both on backroads and on the highway. The magic carpet light is truly a sight to watch! I've uploaded some videos
.

Thank you Mars for making this happen! For anyone who drives at night and wants extra visibility, or who likes cool tech, I'd highly recommend fully activating your matrix headlights.

Not sure what’s up with the link to the YouTube playlist in my original post. Here’s the plaintext link - hope that works.

Edit: All right, I'm giving up on posting the playlist links... Here are links to the 3 videos:

my build is about to lock and am on the fence here

anyone know if the regular matrix headlights can be unlocked to add dynamic cornering (headlight beams turning on curves at speed) or do I need the HD matrix for that functionality? I really prefer the looks of the non-HD…

Has anyone lost this functionality because the dealer has reset it? I'm concerned about spending all this money to code the lights and then having to redo it later.

I received some equipment in the mail and scheduled a time w/ Mars to do the coding. When that time came, I hooked up the power supply, VDI, and PIWIS 4 clone to the car, then Mars connected to the tablet remotely and worked all his magic. I went for a drive that night and took those videos (still not sure why the forum replaced my playlist link with a broken video player preview), then the next day I packed up the equipment, slapped on the return label, and dropped it off at my local FedEx shipping center.

SO amazing! Such a crime that this isn't enabled out of the gate - well worth the cost of working with Mars to code this . . .

@rnlst_log could you comment about this? Any concern on this getting accidentally reverted when taking the car in for service? What would need to happen to revert to stock?
