Any rumors when a 992.2 Targa 4S might come out?

If you mean non GTS, I was told the currently released 992.2 targa GTS is the only targa for this calendar year. I haven’t even heard rumors of a non GTS version in the works. So basically the Targa 4 GTS is only one available new for semi near future.

Yes I meant non GTS. Don’t want the hybrid. Bummer that they’ve moved the Targa even further upmarket.

I don’t want a hybrid either. I’m getting the first TARGA 4S allocation at my dealer as I gave up my GT3Touring allocation recently. Word is we should see the introduction hopefully by the summer sometime and they’ll all be 2026s

It is disappointing that the Targa is only available in GTS trim. Like the Cabriolet, it should be in base, S, and GTS. Or how about a Turbo Targa! There would be a market for that, no doubt.
I'm biased, as I love my 992.1 Targa 4. The more on the road, the better.

The new 4S models that came out include Coupe, Cab, and Targa. There is a Targa 4S 992.2 for 2026.

Took a ride to my dealer today to discuss the TARGA 4S that was just introduced. I was just looking for some information on arrival dates and when I would be able to place an order. To my surprise, I was able to place the order today and confirm I’m the first allocation for the car at my dealer. Here’s my build

Congrats. My choice would have been to add the 18way and Burmester.

I don't get why the cognac is $2700 more than the truffle.

Looks beautiful. I have a similarly spec'd 992.1 Targa 4S and would volunteer that FAL is a very nice feature to have.
