Default 992.2 Carrera T Allocation

Looking for some opinions and figured this would be a good place to gather some. I have an allocation for a new Carrera T to be built in April and like many of you, lost in the sea of options. I really wanted a manual and have played with colors, options etc. I do not want to go over $150K and have had a number of builds that fit within my budget. Hard to mention Porsche and budget in the same sentence!!! I like the look of the Aerokit with the spoiler and willing to give up a full leather interior to get it. I know I could just continue to up my budget but really do not want to. I guess I am just asking if anyone else has ordered there recently with the Aerokit and if they are happy with it. I like the way the car looks both ways but feel the Aerokit makes it just a little more special in a sea of 911s out there. I am not a flashy person so will probably order it is white. Thoughts? Thank you!

Here is the link to one of my builds

I say drop the $4,500 more and get the CarreraT interior package in Gentian blue for $7,560. That covers the upper and lower dash in leather and many other bits.

I'd say if you're intent on staying in your budget, FANTASTIC JOB! Nice build.

Power steering plus adds minimal if anything from what I can tell; plus, I believe a dealer can turn it on later if you really want it. I like your build, though I'm a "slick tail" fan myself and would also do as Shrimp suggested (just to get those sweet plaid door inserts!)... But since you specifically stated you'd prefer the wing over the guts, you're on budget so nice work.

Get the Aerokit if you want, but don't give up the leather T package for it. You will regret it. Arbitrary price caps are fun but not if they hurt your long term enjoyment of the vehicle.

And does anyone know what the pre-wire for dash cam actually delivers? There's another $140 saved

Great build. I like the leather suggestions as well but it is understandable why you skip it given budget constraints.

The dash cam prewire for $140 is so you can spend another $400ish dolllars to buy the Porsche dash cam.

...and inflated installation cost. (I've read $1500-$1800 labor?!?)

From what I understand no one actually has the dealer install the cam. First because the labor is $1500-2000 and they don’t really know what they’re doing. Second the actual cam is inferior technology to alternatives.

I have a 2024 .1 T with aerokit. Other than the aerokit, I kept the build very basic with Bose, GT Silver, and not much else. I came off of a Taycan Turbo S with all the leather and tech which I don’t miss at all. I couldn’t be happier and every time I walk up to my car, I’m so glad I got the aerokit.

Thanks gents! I think I need the aero kit and will spec it. Now have to figure out if all that leather is worth it. I am not sure how long I will keep the car so resale is important and usually only keep a car 2 years. I did another build a little over $150k and might just do that one.

I usually never participate in these threads, but I went through your build, and you did really good. I would spend the extra $4k to get the leather bits.

Thank you, think I might just do that. Still have a little time to make changes.

I would skip the dash cam prep and plastic gas cap. There's $300. If I could only have one, I would rather have the surround cam than LCA (but I would order both). There's another thread around here saying it's basically impossible to retrofit and I find the cams quite useful.
I wouldn't skip the leather in Gentian blue package - it's part of the look for this iteration. I know that breaks your budget but if it were me I would find a way to do it if you're sold on the aerokit. At $150K, it adds less than 5% to the cost of the build
