I previously said that trottle respons wasn't very quick, and I have to correct myself, it definately is very responsive. However, when cruising in low speed, say 70-80 kms/h in automatic normal mode (low revs) and flooring the pedal, it takes some time to get up to speed, but that is PDK needing time to get into lower gear. Otherwise the turbo responses extremely quickly, and like nothing I have experience in a turbo engine before, really impressive.
It is incredably fast, almost in Turbo S territory, but way more responsive.

Sound is very satifying,it is almost "V8ish" like.

I like the car a lot
Can't wait to receive mine! 2nd week of February feels decades away...

I'll be interested to see what current 992.1 S owners think about the new 992.2 GTS in terms of the power difference. I just scooped a 2021 CPO C2S in GT silver and I'm loving the car so much I'm wondering if it's worth spending the extra 50-60k to upgrade to the GTS if I ever get the call from my sales associate.

thank you for the update! How is it as a highway cruiser? Suspension comfort, lane keep assist, road noise, fuel economy, etc..

really appreciate you telling us about this machine

Does the sound, sound artificial at all? In normal mode is there still some piped in sound. Congrats, you need to post more photos.

@Nordic Flyer I'm curious does the 992.2 GTS have a "boost" gauge in the displays? Not the sport-chrono 'boost' button 20-second countdown gauge. When I got my Cayenne Turbo E-Hybrid I was confused to see you could put the "BOOST" gauge in the HUD, as well as the Sport Chrono countdown gauge. The manual provides no description of the "BOOST" gauge, but I've since learned it is when the hybrid EV motor is being used for torque before the turbos spin up in the ICE engine. It provides near instant-torque for the 5,700 pound Cayenne TEH, and made me a firm believer in Electric+ICE combination powertrains! I'm now VERY interested in upgrading my 992.2 base (which I just got and love!) to a T-hybrid 4GTS someday (waiting lists for GTS are evidently 'years' here in the US).

You can see the "BOOST" meter here on the far left of the battery display in the Cayenne TEH, though it's only used when first accelerating hard so it lights up blue, but not that often.
On the far left: the boost guage shows battery assist to the V8 for torque fill during turbo spin-up. Center of the tach: the two grey bars show regenerative braking charging, or accelerating discharging the battery. If you floor it more than the grey bar, the V8 kicks in. Right guage shows its in E-power mode.

The new GTS is an amazing car but I'm not sure eliminating the key fob and physical tach were good ideas.

My understanding is that the car comes standard with the PASM Sport which is 20mm lower. Selecting the option to go with the PASM raises the car 10mm which is still 10mm LOWER than the base Carrera suspension.

Base Carrera - 0mm lift/drop
PASM - 10mm drop from Base
PASM Sport - 10mm drop from PASM (20mm from base)

is this correct?

No, I haven't noticed such guage yet.

The tone is much deeper than on the 3,0 engine, and maybe a bit artificial since you ask. I like it though

I am on winter tires now, but I discovered the standard tires are GoodyYear F1 Super Sport R.
It surprises me thar Porsche chose to put a track tire on a road car, not too happy with that as I live in a place with much cold and wet weather.

no, not correct. Older models like 981 or 997 had options for -20mm but that was without PASM, just stiffer springs. Newer models like 992 just have -10mm with PASM so it is:
Base Carrera - 0mm lift/drop
PASM - 10mm drop from Base (GTS standard)
