Did you also get Bose amp as well ? I see that you have Bose in the PCM, if I recall there were couple option for Bose in PCM like surround and linear sound , etc.. Do you see these option in the PCM as well ?
I am wondering what would be the quickest way to check on this, aside from pulling the door panel and take the speaker out.
Yes, in the PCM I have the surround and linear sound options. I am guessing but can't confirm that I actually have the ASK amp given the problems I had using a bose specific impedance woofer. I won't know unless I remove the passenger seat and pull the amp out from under the floor.

I was actually wondering that myself as I remembered you posting about not having a center as I just walked by the new speakers in my garage. I might pull that center panel/clock off today and take a look.
Check under the passenger seat to see if you have the Bose amp. It will look like this with the large Bose lable on it. You also don't need to pull the seat out. Just remove the 4 bolts and tilt the seat back. You can easily lift the carpet to check.
My build is 7/24 and bass is non-existent. I stopped disassembly cause the woofers are glued on really well and I'd rather have no bass than rattles at this point. But here's a pic of the back (best I could do). Looks curiously like OPs pic of the ASK woofer.
This is really lame to see. I had a 2024 Cayman GTS 4.0 that was supposed to come with cooled seats (specced, on the window sticker, paid for) and it arrived without them (and no button for it). QC seems to be lacking lately. My 911 has Bose and I've had no concerns with the bass. Best of luck getting this resolved, OP.
I truly hope this is a one-off error or the ASK meet their Bose spec. The implications of a widespread QC issue [deception] would be huge.

People keep mentioning QC. Is on purpose with deceit a part of QC? If OPs build was 2/24 and mine was 7/24 it's a fair possibility EVERY bose spec 992 has the ASK woofers.
