A Tesla is my daily driver but I absolutely love the mix of the analog and digital of the 992.1. Maybe I’m still in my honeymoon phase with the 911. The tech in the PCM sucks, especially at this price point, but it is good enough and I will sacrifice the tech for the “key,” analog tach, actual buttons for the temp gauges and seat heaters/ventilation. The dash/functions are not as streamlined as the Tesla but I like them. Then again, I have owned multiple generations of the Apple Watch yet 90% of the time you will find me wearing a Swiss automatic watch so of course I would like the older tech (but appreciate new technology).

I wish more people boycott and refuse to buy 992.2 because of digital screen so there will be more supply than demand so I can buy my first 911 at MSRP or below MSRP in used market in future year

Not a fan of the digital tach or the start button but the biggest issue for me is the lack of a manual transmission in a non GT car. Glad I got my 992.1 T just before the switch over. Yeah I know younger demographic buyers won't care about the lack of manual but I do.

Nice, although that camera view is probably the only time you were ever able to see all 5 gauges at once!

Yes, I feel the same way. I love my 992, but I do like the 991.2 interior much better and, as such, I'm looking to get into a 718 Boxster since it's basically the same platform as the 991.2.

Constructive criticism is fine. Keep in mind that the over whelming majority of people will never think twice about it as they aren’t Renlisters; off living and driving in the real world where the Porsche details matter less then the fact it is what gets them to what is more important.

Personally, I am excited, and consider myself being in privileged position about specing my second new Porsche once my allocation arrives. A physical key and tach, been there; historic, fun. But time marches on and with so little of it, I’d rather focus on the road ahead.
