So currently the 992.2 configurator is showing a $640 charge for Red Chrono in a Base model with Black being standard.

This $640 is to change the Sport chrono analog gauge color only, since the tach is digital.

For the 992.2 GTS, it's a zero charge for Chrono in Red or Silver with Black being standard.

Until we actually see real, (non-press) cars, I'm guessing the Base tach selectable color options will be Black, Red or Silver.

Black, Red and Silver tachs have already been shown on some of the Press car videos.

There's likely some kind of glitch in the configurator. When I ordered mine, it was as you described where it was sport chrono only on the base.

Today, it shows both the sport chrono and the digital tach changing. No clue if it's a glitch or an actual change.
