I agree. Something about the stripe and font doesn't look right. I didn't mind it on the 991.2 T, but it doesn't seem to look right on this model. I did a factory delete of decal and rear badges and I'm pleased with the look.

I've never had to clean the inside of my windows so much though. And it's still going after 1 year, 2 months and ~4500 miles. I think it could also be associated with the LWG - as the haze builds up (or window fogs on a cool humid morning) it sticks less to the glass where the factory delivery stickers were. My go-to has always been invisible glass brand cleaner. I've used watered down IPA. Latest cleaning was with good 'ol Windex...will see how long this lasts.

Remember to use clean microfiber towels every time otherwise you'll end up smearing the muck around and not getting a really clean glass. I'm getting one of the things @ECNJ posted now too.

Interesting, both my neightbor with his TTS and also my T have this problem.

Has anyone tried ceramic coating the inside of their windows to prevent this?

It wasn’t bad. Probably 15 minute job. It’s really thin vinyl.

Is this the closest wheel to a 993 "cup 2" or "fuchs" style wheel offered on modern 911's? I'd like to try these on my '24 T or something similar to a cup2 in design. I don't mind dropping the 1" front and rear, will probably "close the gap" of the tiny brakes anyway!

The ED factory wheels are kind of a Fuchs look.

When the dakar was first shown my thought was that the dakar wheels would make a great winter wheel set for the T

It was hard to pass these wheels up as they are my favorite BUT I wanted to keep the T as close to what the designers intended and went with the standard wheels instead. I do love these ED wheels though and yes, Fuchs-inspired for sure.

Good to c someone from Asia post. Car scene in Japan, Thailand, etc. is so strong. Not sure if you’re into drifting at all…but had some fun traveling all over Japan getting some Tokyo drift in. Drifting not necessarily my thing, but I’ll try any local car culture thing given the opportunity…got to drive a R34 GTR….was awesome. Ha, I’m such a car junkie (wifee term). Not sure how my brother’s wifee puts up with his 12 cars. 😆
