A problem with leaving the spoiler deployed with a TT/TTS is that the front air dam remains lowered and decreases front clearance.

I don't unless I have the sunroof open -- the spoiler position raises a touch higher when it's open.

lol why did they put a button for it.

Ferrari doesn’t want you to deploy aero outside of dynamics, so they don’t have a button.

I hate these marketing talking points. If Porsche didn’t like it, don't put the button in there.

Leaving it deployed puts that spring against the plastic and some 991 had the plastic spring retainer break. So wtf

Same. I have ver seen it go up while driving but can see the top edge when deployed. Never raise it on my own.

I just learned that recently. I couldn't figure out why I could see it sometimes and not others.

lol for the record i couldn't care less what anybody does with their car. Back in my 991 days it was easy to raise the spoiler, but with the 992 its a few extra steps at least

If I am at a Cars And Coffee, I deploy it because it seems like everybody else does it.
If I am driving, I let it deploy as designed by the engineers. I have to say that I really like watching it deploy in my Sideview mirror. I have noticed it goes way higher when my top is down and I’m going over 80 miles an hour.

Because there are several situations when it is better for the engine to manually deploy it even at low speeds.

Could care less about others opinions on the spoiler. I do profess, that if you can see the spoiler in the side mirror, you have a blind spot. In the 991, I have never seen the spoiler. It used to really bother me; is it up or down? That passed with time :-)

I don't see it all to the point where I don't know if it's working. I know it works when I manually raise it and get out of the car though. Maybe I'll raise my seat position.
