Default Atlanta PEC Delivery PPF Question

Hi All,

I have a GT3 coming in the fall and am doing Atlanta PEC Delivery. I would like to get PPF put on the car before I drive the car back up to NJ.

I received an email from Porsche with an option to have them apply the Xpel Ultimate PPF before my delivery experience. They quote the option codes as ZFS/ZFP/ZFF for front bumper and part of hood/full front/full car. Does anyone know what they charge, who actually does the install and whether they stretch the film to tuck the corners (most important for me). I don't want to see the film lines on precut film that wasn't stretched and tucked. I have a few good PPF shops up here, but don't know anyone in Atlanta, so if anyone has recommendations of places, I would appreciate that as well.

We drove home from Atlanta to Boston and didn't get any chips or damage.
No PPF.
With a GT3, I'd be most worried about that front lower lip.

You can always take some tracwrap with you to do the front of the car for the drive home. It's a small enough cost and will take some time, but easy enough to do as one person.
I took a 100' 6inch roll and 2 X 40' 4inch roll for the full front, side skirts, A pillars all the way to the back and front top of the roof.
Car will look like its stuck together with tape. If you don't care about the looks, it'll protect it.
I did this for my drive from LA to SF over 500 miles and didn't get a single chip.

Yep I did the same for my 500 mile drive home from PEC. My PPF shop gave it to me free. Took my wife and I 30 mins to apply all of it.

Have you had it PPF'd professionally yet? If so, did you do your headlights?

I've done full PPF on mine and did the headlights. THere was a mark on the ppf on one of them and the shop just pulled off the PPF slowly after 2 weeks and reapplied it.
My previous 718 GT4 also had it and after 2.5 years and 22k miles, there small marks on the PPF and there was no loss in performance of the lights. The GT4 had bixenons.
