My new T came with Michelins

How is tire wear at 30 - 33 ? I know historically the rears wear faster...But I'm wondering how lower pressures affect wear.

Thanks again!
I only have 4k miles on mine, but I certainly don't have any abnormal wear so far. Rears are still in good shape with plenty of tread (haven't measured).

I did the same. I ran my Goodyears at 29/32 but have since been running 32/36 or 33/37 on PS4S. Rear Goodyears lasted 18,000 miles with tread still left on the front but I swapped all 4.

29/32 with SPASM stiffer suspension mode was great. With 33/37 I run 50/50 normal or stiff mode depending on the road.

  • Then select whatever combination of option is closest to whatever you inflated your tires to between comfort/normal and normal/full load.
  • You well get a message stating the TPMS has been reset and that it needs ~25km to record the pressures (no pressure will be displayed for a few miles of driving, usually less than the stated 25km).

I find it to be a bit of an over complicated procedure compared to other cars I’ve own/owned, but that’s how it needs to be done (it is in the owner’s manual).
Did exactly this! What I noticed that there was a third option of tire, Sport, aside from selecting Winter or Summer. Is that the equivalent of performance all seasons?

I am glad that we have this thread, especially given that my new C2S arrived late this week and I needed a refresher since my 992 T was pre-traded in May when I acquired my C2S allocation. I ran the comfort pressures on the T at 29f/32r and it substantially made a difference in metro ride quality.
