I'm going to try the Comfort Pressures (29/32) this weekend as well. Thanks for posting your door sticker as it was very illuminating - unfortunately, companies have to treat us like children over here lest they get sued out of business.

That seems really low but I’ll go down near those numbers too when and if I get around to it. 10-11lb difference seems extreme but I’ll drop mine some.

I cannot say I agree 100% with this post. While it is true that sustained high speed driving requires higher pressures, “high performance” driving, where increased tire grip is desired, usually benefits from lower pressures. Lower pressures will yield higher tread temperature through increased rolling band deformation, which increases tire grip. As a more extreme example, when driving at the track, I start at 24psi cold and aim for 31/32psi hot front and rear.
I find the comfort pressures (30psi front and 35psi rear on my car) offer the best compromise, especially since I cannot do much sustained high speed driving where I live.

I set mine to the comfort pressures as well at 30 front and 35 rear and it is much more compliant than the factory setting

FYI, if you regularly hit speeds over 110mph, the comfort tire pressures won't give enough stability and confidence. I'm at 33/38 as a compromise.

this is in line with what I was thinking… 5lb decrease all around since I’m at 38/43 now. The F8 is 29/31 but that’s the recommended level and it’s solid at all speeds.

Now, I would not recommend using such low pressures for SUSTAINED high speed driving (above 150mph) because this will cause the tires to overheat.
For street driving, I use the recommended Comfort (turbo) 30/35psi F/R cold pressure setting. IMO, folks should use the pressures that feels best to them within the prescribed range defined by Porsche.

Just came back from a couple laps of our local Nurburgring and the improvement with the Comfort Pressures is pretty dramatic. There’s the expected improvement in ride quality especially over uneven/broken pavement and squared edged hits - as dramatic an improvement for both as going from Full Load to Partial Load) - but also improvements in on center steering and steering feel not to mention a “stickiness” in the rear end that inspires extra confident in corners. The light, floaty feeling that I thought was inherent to the 911 is gone now. The only downsides is that is that I felt PASM (Sports Plus) grab the inside rear brake a couple of times in tight corners to rotate the car, and my already poor gas mileage is likely to get worse at these lower pressures.

PASM is the acronym for the dynamic dampers and does nothing to the brakes.

I set my pressures early this morning to 33 - 38 cold, its too hot out now. I will drop them to 29 - 32 tomorrow morning

so I set my cold tire pressure at 33/38. Drove around for a while then got this. So if my goal is 33/38 cold, do i need to lower the pressures in the driver front and both rears? Put another way, are those readings the cold pressures? Thx.

Ah, you’re right. I was indeed conflating PSM and PASM and assumed that PSM had a Sport Plus setting when Sport Chrono was set to Sport Plus.
