I suspect one of the reasons for the 911 being on the list is that some who buy the 911 are over their head, financially….

Flippers and a bunch of people here have had 2+ 992s for whatever reason. It's not just because they don't like it.

Actually there's 3 Porsche's on the list. Cayenne, Macan and 911. The fact that you can sell above MSRP (for the 911) for some of the trim levels, flippers would be my bet on why the 911 is on the list.

Thinking high single year lease rates have something to do with it.

I think flipping on 911’s that are rare, or difficult to get, makes sense. But I don’t think most of the 7.1% that were sold in the first year, fall into that category…the numbers for rare/hard to get 911’s would be small.

some of us like to try cars as a hobby
I have had 2022 992 C4S PDK
2023 992 TTS
and in 10 days will have my 2024 CS MT
I don't call this flipping cars
some people dine out 20 times a month , some people 2 times a year
obviously one advantage of buying a lot of cars , is it gives you access to more usually rare cars like GT cars and I think this is what some people resent

There are people that buy these cars and find that they don't actually drive them. They're best enjoyed driven. That number doesn't surprise me at all.

"...according to data." Data from where? That looks a whole lot to me like a random list of cars and trucks.

Most of the cars on the list are not surprising. 911 is.

Agreed...picture of a LR Discovery Sport is actually a Discovery which does not have poor first year quality results or maintaince issues. Its LR most solid current build

In addition to not using the car, might it be that some first timers found the car less usable than they imagined and opted to returned to something larger/practical?
