Genuine curiosity question: what's so special about the GT Wheel that makes it a must-have? I have it now and I wouldn't say it's anything to write home about.

Price was one of the factors that pushed me to the base model (GTS was looking to be around £145-150k). Having driven most of the 992.1 line up I was surpised with how well the base model held up against its bigger brothers.

Dealer got me a slot which to my surprise is due to be delivered within the next 6 weeks. As a result freeze date was yesterday and went with the following:

Really love the look of this gen's aero kit especially the front bumper. Left off a lot of tech features as I wanted to keep the price below £120k. Cant wait to see what Vanadium Grey looks like in person!
nice spec...am I seeing this correct leather interior is now standard? is that a UK thing?

Thank you!

Yes the car comes with leather as standard in the UK, in fact it's the only option, only variations are two tone or club leather. Out of curiosity what is it showing like on your configurator?

That's crazy, no idea why the options are different for US market vs european - what is offered as standard some type of cloth?

OP - congrats on the allocation, and progress with build!

I'm in the Wash DC area and have my lock date on 992.2 C2 coming up Monday 6/10. We'll see if that holds. Been told to expect early/mid-August delivery, and that my delivery is scheduled to be the first for my dealership of the 992.2.

Here's my build. Also going w/Aero Kit - think it looks great on the .2!

It’s a type of artificial leather or so.
apparently we can add the leather seats only at no charge but dash, door, rear panels etc are $4530 extra.

I’ve ordered this from Sytner. I placed a deposit 18 months ago. They’re telling me delivery will be September.https://configurator.porsche.com/porsche-code/PSSH9VB7

Would appreciate any feedback on the configuration I’ve had four new 911s now and always seem to get it wrong..

Congrats to you too. Youre right in my neck of the woods. Which dealership are you working with? Any ADM?

Tip of the cap to you sir for spotting, will think of you everytime I look at it
u cant swap it, you will also need a new clockspring that has the heating pin out to connect the wheel to. but other than that it should be plug and play.
