What closure? I didn't see or hear anything about that
it’s discussed a lot on rennlist. Not sure the exact dates but the plant shuts down in August every year for extended period. I’m sure someone with more knowledge could weigh in.

I think it’s just a (European) summer vacation thing.
But, yes, they should down for a month every year.
My base Cab moved to step 4, "manufacturing has started", this morning. That's right on schedule. If things hold up it'll be done with manufacturing on 7/26. I'm looking forward to some pictures!
how long did it take to go from manufacturing is scheduled to manufacturing has started?

I went from step 3 the "Manufacturing process of your Porsche is starting soon" on July 3rd to step 4 "the manufacturing of your Porsche has now started" on July 15th. So it to 12 days in between for me.
Hi everyone, wanted to introduce myself. My 992.2 base order locks on 7/25 and I will also be doing euro delivery. Will keep posting updated timelines etc.
I’m still trying to debate adding the 14 vs 18 way and the leather. Really want to keep the build under 150k as I think that’s my personal limit on the base car. I’m also undecided on the wheels - polished vs glossy on IGM or GT Silver.
Wanted to share this picture from Reddit of the glossy wheels and Lugano blue?, apparently the 992.2 are already in dealerships in Europe.
Thanks for sharing this pic! I went with Lugano Blue & a chalk interior sight unseen, and this pic reinforces my decision I made the right choice! And I just got pix of my new baby. It’s waiting for a boat at Emden.

Where in the App/portal do the pictures appear? I understand that some people get photos while others do not but am curious what section of the app do have to look in? Thanks

They won't be there until manufacturing is complete, and you'll get an email that you can see them in track your dream. Interestingly, any build sheet for a car you're interested in from a dealership that includes the commission # you can punch into track your dream. It'll show up as if it is a car you have on order. When I was trying to decide between two dealer-ordered-for-stock 2025 992.2's that dealers had incoming, I punched in both their commission codes into TYD, and later that night both their finished production photos on the car elevator appeared. Helped me decide on which car I wanted. Then you just remove the car you're no longer interested in when you're done (heads up, I only see the "remove this vehicle" option on the web browser TYD, couldn't find it in the mobile app).

I went to step 5 yesterday, received an email update that my manufacturing is complete but no photos. Guess it varies.
Have you tried the inspect element way of finding pictures?
I tried the Inspect hack but was not able to see any of the texts that were referenced on the other forums. Thanks for suggesting it sneeze, maybe I will try in another day or so.

One thing I didn't realize when doing it, was that you had to be under the "Preview" tab after clicking into your USMI number. Even though I have no pictures, the line is still there.

Just got my photos this morning.
I got the Spyder wheels in Satin Dark Silver. I actually wanted them in black but they no longer offered the Spyder design on the 992.2. I've heard you can just get them powder coat upon delivery. Any opinions on the dark silver vs going with black?
