Bet strong money on that not happening.

That’s a negative.

I would be very surprised if they did, the Carrera S seems to have always been a popular variant since the 993.

Well, the initial lineup info has two case Carrera and then the hybrid GTS models & three Turbos. No S models listed. Guessing we will seee the S with the 994.

Seeing as how it’s been around since the 60s off and on, I’m going to say it will be back

People are so impatient

They won't kill it. But with the base getting a slight HP bump and better brakes, the S is less compelling than it used to be. Especially with the price increases. My bet is demand for the Base goes much higher with the .2.

Porsche is a super consistent company in the way they operate and execute. The S is coming, just wait. Just like the absence of the turbo, gt3, and 4 models does not mean that they will not introduce them soon.

No. The S is coming. They just decided to maximize their margins with the GTS landing first.

It is traditionally the top selling trim, so Im sure it'll be back.

The should only have 2 cars. base and gts. Make the base with all the S goodies since these cars have gotten so expensive now.

When I inquired about a 992 allocation in March/April 2023 I was informed that an S and any of the Targa models were the most difficult non-GT allocations to acquire as the waitlist for them are lengthy. Clearly that will vary depending upon your region/country.

Opposite for me, as I was told the GTS was harder to get than the S. I’m in line for .2 S. Hopefully it is announced soon so I can really get back into the configurator.
