Will Porsche kill the S variant for 992.2 gen?

Both at MSRP. Only requirement was to service the car at the dealership for three years, which is ten minutes from my house and would do it anyway. You got hosed. If you had an ST or GT3 model, then you actually got a more interesting car.

Yea only requirement for a 4S trim…congratulations. You’re honestly a clown telling someone that bought a manual GTS with no ADM or dealership requirements that they got “hosed”.

The S will have a detuned version of the GTS T-Hybrid drivetrain. Given the new GTS pricepoint, the S will likely become the "sweet spot" option in 2026.
Yes, with the 992.2, I predict that the S will steal that "sweet spot" label from the GTS.
Unless Porsche is planning to introduce a new manual transmission that can accommodate that T-Hybrid motor, there will be no S with 3 pedals. The PDK take rate with the 992.1 was so high -- heck, it felt like a majority of the real world Ts were spec'd with a PDK. It's tough for me to imagine that they'd engineer a new manual just for the US market as regulatory requirements have basically killed 3 pedals everywhere else.
