Default Issue on DAY 1 of new CPO!!

New on forum…. Hi to all!
on Day 1 I lowered cab (2021CPO) and rear window wouldn’t cooperate properly…. Dealer is 1.5 hours from my house but had the car I wanted!
i immediately made salesman aware …. He told me that they knew of an “ faulty sensor” (?) and apologized it wasn’t remedied there!….and I agreed to take it to my closeby dealership. They got me in 2 days later but couldn’t come up w a quick fix I hoped for and now have to go back again for a diagnostic appt!!

I don’t have the time or patience for all this HASSLE!!!!!
What remedy’s would u guys think r acceptable from the dealership I bought car from?
1. Monetary reimbursement?
2. pick up car at my house, bring a loaner and flatbed it back and return to me when perfect 3. Anything else??

***at what point should I/CAN I get PNA involved in this problem?
How do u go about that if need be??

Thank you all for your help,
Angry and Frustrated!

You have to breathe a bit and measure your response(s) to this issue. I understand it’s annoying, but you are not at the point of getting Porsche North America involved…..at all. The dealership acknowledged their error and are working to rectify it. At this point, a loaner and a repair of the faulty sensor is more than sufficient.

Frustrating for sure. Get it back to the dealer you bought it from and get them to make it right. Once fixed enjoy the car.

We all hope given the expense of these Porsche that they will always work perfectly, but just not the case. Develop a good relationship with your closest dealer for maintenance and future repair needs.

Schedule a new appointment. Let them know you plan to hangout while they do the fix.

Plan.out a scenic drive to the dealer. Maybe stop for a cup of coffee and a donut. Enjoy the beauty of a scenic, windy road drive and reflect on the joyful fact that you get to do it in a 992 911. Maybe stop for some pie and coffee along the route.

Make some calls, send some emails, be productive while they fix your car. If they can't, get a loaner.

In any event, enjoy the scenic route back home. Enjoy your 911 for many miles.

Then on the way home schedule a glucose test!

Pie? Did someone say PIE? I'm IN - Where and when??

Good advise to chill, and make the best of the situation. Yes, it's not what you want and it can be a hassle, yet turn the hassle into a better day by adding some fun into it.

Go by the exclamation point farm and harvest a few. You missed a few opportunities to add them in your post.

Relax about it and the dealer will fix it. It's not going to kill you or the car.

It happens, get it fixed and drive the car as others have said.
Or buy a toyota camry.

I would deal with my local dealer. Either leave car with them or wait for it. Ideally leave car as it sounds like you're tight on time to wait and have them fix there. No need to go back to selling dealer. No need to flat bed it.

Your rant doesn't tell us the issue.....specific issue. 90% of all window issues going up and down can be fixed with re-indexing the window, the procedure is in your manual.

I believe this is the owner's manual page for resetting the power window auto-up that drcollie is referring to...
