Hi, I need some clarification. Does anyone know the difference between choosing the leather interior in black with chalk stitching and selecting a full black interior with deviated stitching? Is there any difference, or does it simply offer more color options to choose from?
Along with more color options, more of the interior gets deviated stitching if you choose that option, like the central tunnel, more of the door panel, steering wheel, and more.

I see, do you think its better to go with the deviated option then? I don't think i'll get any extended leather package.

If I had to choose, I'd rather get extended leather than standard leather+deviated stitching, especially considering the value. I personally went all in with full extended leather + deviated stitching.
Ultimately, it's up to you and what makes you happy.
It's up to you. Do you want to pay 6k for someone to change the spool when they stitch your leather?
^^ This ^^
My personal pet peeve with Porsche as I made custom leather upholstery for my clients. When one of them asks "If I would like Gray contest stitching on my panel closures, what do you charge?"
"Why....nothing. It only takes one minute to change out the bobbin, why would we charge for that?"
Yet look at what Porsche does - and people pay it. BTW, it brings you zero at trade-in time.

Crazy question is there anyway you can do the stitching after…friend bought car and did not have DS…thoughts?
Your/their best best is to look for DS interior being sold off on ebay or the likes. OEM will be ridiculously expensive. There's also https://exclusiveoption.com/. Never used them, but have read good things about them.

Good luck on e-bay. You can't find much there and to fit your car it has to have the exact config you have minus the deviated stitching (including like color of plastic pieces). Yes, you can restitch seats and all panels and EO is one of who can do it (very good at it) ..but any local uphoolstery shop can. The most trouble part is the dash - but if you just like to change the stitching in seats, center console, and lower part of the door panels..its prety easy to remove these parts, have them restitched and installed again. Nothing comes cheap though.
