Zero. No thanks on the color. Or the trim. Dakar is interesting to a degree but have no interest in owning. Even with disposable collector type money, that is not a 911 variant really worth owning.

I'm rooting for whomever bids the highest amount of money. They deserve it.

Vintage PTS with roof rack, I say it will sell for $350K minimum based on the results of others that have recently sold. It's already at $45K over MSRP.
Personally, I would not bid on this one as the only spec I would want is the Rothmans (Rough Roads) livery.

cool car but judging from spy pics we've seen there is clearly a future dakar or at least a dakar-like package that will be available on other trims of 911 so I just don't see this becoming overly collectible or appreciating. Doesn't mean i don't love it, but does mean I wouldn't overpay for it. 100k over msrp should be the top here for somebody that has the cash and wants to go have some fun with an awesome machine.

It’s funny people make comments about the Dakar without having driven one. I get it; initially can seem weird, even odd. I remember most blasting Tourings back in 2018. Was funny also. You can type whatever you want, but in hindsight sight it’s different than you current perception. And ironically, while some “think” it’s collector or 5-6 911 option, it’s not. When you drive one, you might realize should be main 911. Which again, is weird, until you actually drive one. Then you might sound like me 😂. Anyway, might sell for $350k.

Only one thing appeals to me on the Dakar - the seat height has got to be higher, making it easier for old men like me to get in and out of. You youngsters laugh about that now....but when you are 70......

Exterior photos were horribly done. Can't believe they couldn't do better photography on this car.

THIS! Once I drove it, everything else was just not the same anymore. But personally I had to have the white wheels and while green is my thing, that shade is way not. Not a spec I dig, my white wheels and shade green metallic Dakar is what I was after and I love it - once I did the Dakar experience at PEC I got to see for myself what this car is capable of, and it's insane. But yea this will go for 350k or just over, my guess. (also, I really like my Bucket Seats for this style ride..)

I think the problem is that there is a disproportionate amount of people who are new to the brand in the 992 forum and know next to zero about Porsche and its history or purpose.

Yet another overrated porsche that is always parked outside a wholefoods in colorado/california. the community needs to stop putting these cars on a pedestal and instead value those cars that are ACTUALLY DRIVEN. remember its a real car, not a model made to sit on a shelf. drive it like you stole it.
