yup Will - we are all running in the same line but a lot of people have cars moving recently (gucko, Oreo) so hopefully we have a chance, just keep in mind boats and shipping. My original dates were start April 3 finish April 12 but then it went to 5/6 and from 5/6 it went to 6/5 so yeah

we are all in a similar position with getting the final elevator picture and then car getting pushed - it’s getting a little upsetting for sure with seeing people start their builds and get them to the port all before the delayed cars do but yeah TYD is a good and bad thing

Thank you! This June is funny as 1st is also first Saturday, so do you mean 8th as 2nd Saturday? If so it’s a possibility. If I can make it, that implies daughter is in A flight which would be a good thing! I think I recall hearing that a lot of attendees had problems last year due to a car show, now I know what it is at least.

we did a similar trip a few years ago in a rental and had a ball, Florida has a lot of cool stuff beyond Orlando and Miami! And it has all changed a ton since the 80’s when I was a kid. I hardly recognized Sarasota when I went back for the first time in maybe 30 years in 2021.

Yes - the 8th will be the show. Officially from 8-10, but cars start arriving at 6:45 sometimes to get their desired spot! Safe travels and hope you enjoy Sarasota as much as we do!

Sorry for the dumb question but where on TYD do you see photos of the car on the elevator getting built? My car has started its build but don't see any pics.

Most people get them. Most got 3 photos. But I've only received one 2 days after the manufacturing started. And my car has been completed and already at Emden port since May 15th but I still did not get any additional photo.
If you are getting them you can navigate to "current phase" in the TYD apps and then scroll down (or just keep scrolling down in the website) and you should see a photo if provided.

Is it likely that much shipping has been delayed due to the bridge issues in Baltimore? This is the main thing I can think of if the delays are happening to those with cars already built and at the port, as well of those with cars still sort of in production / waiting for production. Plus we are all waiting for different car models and have found no common element in the builds. At least TYD shows my delivery is expected to go through Baltimore...
