Does anyone have a recommendation for a seat back protector? I’ve seen the advice for taking their shoes off but it is pain to put them back on 😅 I just prefer to put up a seat protector and prevent scuffs..

I haven't found one I like. I looked at the one that porsche offers and someone said that in the 911, you couldn't fold the seat properly (can't recall where).
My PPF guy is going to have a look and see if he can PPF it (he doesn't do interiors normally). I know some other places PPF the seatback, so that may be an option.

This looks like it might be useful to get a rear facing seat in further back tho. Any idea around how many inches of extra space it opened up?

Which rear facing seat is this? Does it fit comfortably with the passenger seat as well?

Am looking for one too. Until then, it's a towel and no shoes...

It fits both my 2-year-old and 4 1/2-year-old (although the 4 1/2-year-old will be ready for a booster shortly).

According to the Pico website:

Forward-facing car seat fits kids 22-50 lbs and 30-45 inches. Recommended for ages 2+

Does anyone know whether the GTS back seats are narrower than the S?

I moved from an S to GTS and bought two car seats which I thought were similar to the one I had with S but they don’t work. I measure the GTS back seat as 13inch wide in the back. Sadly I don’t have the car seat I used in the C2S so I cannot try that one

With my kid around 35 pounds, it's time to get back into a 911 so the little guy can ride around with mom and dad. It looks like many of you have coupes, what are your thoughts about the forward facing car seat in the cabriolet?

I just installed the Porsche car seat into my targa. My daughter is about 35 lbs and when I originally installed the car seat I had left the back seats intact. However I ended up removing the rear seat back cushion only and it allowed the car seat to slide all the way back. No issues and sturdy with the iso hooks. Allows just enough room for my wife in the front.

I'm keen to hear if the back sits on properly with the rear cushion removed. A previous post above showed the gap left behind the made the back not stable, unless you use towels or something wedged in there.
Also, are you able to recline the seat? I find it sits too upright at the moment. Whilst its fine for short, day to day drives, but for longer drives/road trips, I'd like to get a little recline in there.

The only towel I have is a small one underneath the seat to protect the leather, but the seat holds strong once it slides back into the iso clips. You can recline the seat as well since that doesn’t require adjusting the mounts but it does eat into the legroom of the front passenger.
