So I made a speccing mistake

I don’t know how to drive so I love the mirror tilt.
I almost exclusively back into corner spots and inches off the curb to make room for some jackass to open their door and not hit my car.
I wish I could add tilt to the driver mirror tilt. Both do it in my truck and it makes life easy.

I hate passenger tilt! I'd rather have both mirrors tilting. I use an extra memory seat setting in my cars to have both mirrors go down when backing into my driveway. It's why I optioned memory seats and surround view. Unfortunately, you have to either do it manually each time or get a new allocation.

Do you miss not having the thigh extension that the 14 way provides? The 18 ways are too articulated for me, was going to stick with the 4 way but worry about losing the adjustable thigh extension and the seat tilt that the 14 way provides - even though I know I will adjust the seat once at delivery, and never touch it again for the life of the car.

Nope and the advantage of the 4 ways? They don't take forever to move forward to access the rear of the car. I had a BMW 650 GC with 18 ways so I adjusted the squab to the same length as the noted squab length of the 992T then adjusted my 650's seat and sat in it. It's a bit shorter but not anywhere near uncomfortably so.

Hopefully you have Surround View??? The only thing I can think the tilting mirror is good for is seeing how close your are to the line in your parking space. If you have Surround View the tilting mirror is redundant.

got a gts comin with 4 way sports plus, had the same mentality as you as I'd be the only one driving
Coming from another car where I turned off the reverse tilting mirrors, doubt you'll miss it.
I almost never use it, mostly just use the backup/surround cam
you'lll be good

I turn my reverse-tilt off also, I find it annoying and it's exceptionally rare for me to be parallel parking my 911 anyways. As for the seats, I had 4 ways in my GT4 and currently have 18 ways in my Carrera, and in some ways I prefer the 4 ways, they are great seats and have great lumbar support even if it isn't adjustable, I loved them.

Another vote for the 4 ways with Sport Plus seats. Much as I like lots of seat adjustments, the Sport Plus with Sport-Tex on the T is easily the best car seat I've ever had. Never been a fan of tilt down mirrors. The surround cameras make huge sense in our Macan, but the 911 has great visibility and the base front and rear sensors plus rear view camera work great for me doing parallel parking and backing into spaces. What did people do when everyone was driving Delta 88s in the 1960s??

Over the years I've had the 14 way, 18 way, buckets, and now 4 way....These days the only reason I would spec the 18ways is to get the 930 leather package. I never missed the tilting mirror feature ...the 4 ways are a great seat choice and a nice $ savings

I have the 18 ways and have never tried my reverse mirrors as I have yet to parallel park my 911. I don't trust the general public with their driving skills.
I've had them on my daily drivers and they are very helpful.

I also have a bad back, there is no 4, 14 or 18 way that will provide me the stability I need.
So, I have to buy a special pillow for each of the cars to get the exact lumbar support needed. The pillow costs only about $40 so 4-way sports are much better.
