992 Steering Wheel Adjustment
#16
My 2023 doesn't have it, I wish it did. I've bought 2 other non-porsche cars recently and they both have it, how mysterious that Porsche can't find these rare chips for power steering column but everyone else can.

People are funny.
We have threads upon threads of people yearning for analog gauges and dials and the Porches of yesteryear.
And yet in the very next thread we have people who are like, "WTF, I have to pull a freaking lever to move my steering wheel? Where's the electronics?!?!"

I have the 2021 C2S with the 18-way seat option, and didn't get the electrical adjusted steering wheel either, later on got a $1300 cheque to compensate.
While I don't really miss the electrical adjustable steering wheel part of this, I think not having the electrical wheel also eliminated the ability of the steering wheel and seats to automatically retract when powering off? This part of it might be useful for getting in and out of the car.

With my ‘22 GTS November delivery Porsche added insult to injury by telling me “no $500 credit” as they had a cutoff date.

If you (not you specifically but “you” generally) want analog why purposely choose something that is the antithesis of analog?

True, the steering wheel adjustment is done once and then mostly left. What is nice about the electrically adjusted steering wheel is the comfort access feature which raises the wheel and moves the seat back on opening the door on entry and exit. Makes getting in and out much easier, especially if you are a bit older! The memory function also works for other drivers if stored as part of the seat memory. Its a nice feature to have and regrettable that Porsche is unable to install it in many new cars.
