Mine arrived at the dealer yesterday - sending it out for ceramic/PPF and I’ll have it in a week. 👍

 

Update - Just spoke to my SA who confirmed the car is now at the dealer, and it looks like the dealer is working on installing the much needed part now since it was NOT installed at the port. He could not tell me what part or where it was located, but conveyed he will share with me once he learns from the tech. I will be picking it up tomorrow so I'll share more details once I learn more. He did share that they took receipt of three 911s from the port and three replacement parts.

 

Hope to hear more exciting news like this. They need to hurry up at both SD and SF ports.

 

Couldn’t agree more. Just release all those hot cars from (west coast) ports! Actually, make that all ports!

 

The gateway module for 992 is located on the center hump under the rear seat bottom or lower shelf (for rear seat delete cars). not sure if dealer techs will remove the regular front seat for easy access but I'd assume for cars with bucket will require removal for rear access.

Check all surrounding area mentioned above for any potential damage, scratches before you take delivery.

 

And rattles.

 

I wonder if they are pushing them to dealers so they can recognize the revenue.

My TYD app finally moved and after being stuck at the San Diego port since 1/23 it is now headed to the dealer! SA told me they will be replacing the part there which should arrive any day now.

 

Anyone have a 911 move from Benicia yet? Feels like we are the last port that hasn't had any 911s show up at dealers.
