Macan colors and the 992.2
Hey all,
I have an S-Cab allocation with an upcoming freeze date (2/6) and build date (3/13). I'm not in love with the current 992.1 color selections, but am happy enough to order now. There are several colors (yellow, shark blue) being discontinued in mid-March.
I just saw the new colors on the 2024 Macan EV, and I absolutely love oak green neo (assuming it's very close to the OG oak green).
What are the likelihood of the Macan EV colors making their way to the 992.2? What are the chances they may be offered on the last few months of production on the 992.1?

I think it will be a color. Its also on the Panamera. I kinda hate that my 911 T won't be that color since my favorite color is green. I'd rather enjoy the 911 now though and at a cheaper price. I have no clue when I would have been able to get a .2. Heck I only got the T on order cus I lucked out walked in to a different dealership than the one I that had me on a list and they said got a open build. 2.5k deposit to take our dealer build or 10% for custom.

I sure hope they have better colors for the 992.2 than those. I have zero desire for a green car. Gentian is too dark, not really interested in a frozen color or orange. Give us a decent blue to replace shark that I now won't be able to get!!

They have AG on the Macan wonder what would take it's place for 911 since doubt they would bring back.

I'm not really into the darker colors. They are harder to keep looking clean and really just aren't vibrant enough for me. I've been admiring Shark for years and was looking forward to getting it on the 911. I'm hoping at least for Guards Red to still be there as a worthy consolation color. I'd hate to be forced into kinda boring in comparison white out of lack of other viable for me options.

Guards seemed like a steal as a free color. I'll be satisfied if its still there as an option for a not insane amount of money. I'm not going to pay PTS price. The individual colors on my BMWs were only $4500-5000 in comparison

definitely would have considered copper ruby or papaya for my 992.1 T

This was one of my fears when I had my PTS Oak Green - that Porsche would release Oak Green as a standard option (albeit "Neo")
I'm thinking the only green that's totally safe from being released as a standard color is Brewster.

Averturine Green was an $800 upgrade on my 992S and now a $2500 upgrade on the Macan. Porsche never misses the chance for a price hike.

Hard to think the P will eliminate Guards as a basic or first tier price option on the .2 as its been a basic signature 911 color for near 40 years.
My hopes:
-some type of garnet/ruby/mahogany metallic
-something along glacier blue/silver for us skiers (you know that blueish color when you look into a cravasse?)
-Provence from new macan/panamara that color is awesome and I think is a good consolation for losing rubystar
