First 911 arriving in a week, what kind of reactions should I expect on the road?

Yes it's a real thread, you sound like a really positive person.
I'm lowkey, I don't want a crap ton of attention on the road. It's my first Porsche I don't know what to expect coming from driving boxy jeep wranglers my whole life, I'm just asking people what their experience is with their cars.
Thread shouldn't offend you, if it does, don't open it.

Three Wheelin'
A few things I have noticed as a new Porsche 911 owner.
1. Most people don’t look twice. Those who do are usually enthusiastic and give you a thumbs up.
2. People will look at you funny when you open your frunk and put stuff in it.
3. Most are shocked when I take my daughter out of the back seat because they think 911’s don’t have room in the back.
In general people are cool and appreciate seeing a Porsche.

I've been driving Jeep wranglers basically for the past 10 years, lol, so obviously I'm not used to anyone stopping and making comments on my car, as they're literally a dime a dozen.
I have my 2022 chalk GTS arriving in a week or so.. I'm obviously very excited but part of me is also not sure of what to expect from other people on the road.
I live on long island NY, 911's aren't exactly common here like they are in LA or other major cities, so it will definitely stand out.
Are reactions from people on the road typically good? Do you guys ever get negative reactions on the road, or people driving more aggressively around you, etc.?

Anyways I feel almost anonymous, even here where I rarely see more than 2-3 other 911s in a month. I don't really even get folks goading me to race. It still surprises me — especially in shark blue with an aerokit — but I much prefer it this way. Our RS6 actually gets more attention, to be honest.

Many years ago, a woman walked up to my car and said, “Cute little car. What is it?”. I was a little surprised.
I answered, ”It’s a Porsche.”
She responded, “Oh. That’s why,” and away.
So, yeah, everyone thinks it a cute little VW-ish car.

Here is LA I'll get comments at gas stations or parking lots maybe but VERY little attention while driving. Funny thing is that we may have the reverse situation with the Jeep/Porsche setup. I get much more attention in my jeep here in LA (but to be fair the 392 is LOUD and draws a ton of attention)

My wife gets comments everywhere she goes on her e-tron GT. People think it’s gorgeous. There are less on the road than Taycans so part of that is the rarity. I don’t get as many comments on my 992, partly because I’m never in one place long enough!
